  8. ¼Should  we  have  some  kind of scene
  9. oscars or ?  And how should we handle
  10. them   ?    Read   on   for   further
  11. information   in   this   interesting
  12. topic.

  14. ¹This  topic  has been brought forward
  15. by  both  Zine and Raw but no one has
  16. ever done anything about it.  Here is
  17. my  idea how we should do!  Lets take
  18. the  major  diskmag  editor  of  each
  19. country  that  has  a famous diskmag.
  20. Like  Lord  Helmet from Norway, Macno
  21. from Italia, Wolfman from Denmark and
  22. so   on.   Let  this  committee  each
  23. nominate  three candidates in each of
  24. the   category   and   publish  their
  25. nominees   in   a   issue  that  gets
  26. released  after  1 Jun 94.  Then this
  27. commitee  votes  and selects the five
  28. official  nominees  in each category.
  29. These   gets  printed  in  a  special
  30. intro/mag/demo  that gets released in
  31. oktober/november.    And   we  decide
  32. where   to  have  this  scene  oscars
  33. ceremony.   If  there gets a Party IV
  34. it  would  perhaps be best to have it
  35. there..    Then   we   gather  a  big
  36. commitee  with  20-30 diskmag editors
  37. that are present at that party.  They
  38. vote  and  decides  the  best in each
  39. category   who  will  get  the  scene
  40. oscars for that year.

  43. ¶¹The categories I suggest for this
  44. would be:

  46. ½            BEST CODER-93
  47.          BEST GRAPHICIAN-93
  48.           BEST MUSICIAN-93
  49.             BEST GROUP-93
  50.          BEST PRODUCTION-93
  51.           BEST NEWCOMER-93

  53. ¹And  each  winner  would  get  a nice
  54. trophy!   A  trophy  could  we easily
  55. finance  if the oscars committe got 1
  56. or 2 DKK from the arrangers from each
  57. man  entering  the Party IV!  Then we
  58. would  have  3000-6000  DKK!   And we
  59. could  spend  500-1000  DKK  on  each
  60. trophy  and  we  could get quite nice
  61. trophys  (I  know  how  much  a  nice
  62. trophy costs so...)
